The tsunami warning for the B.C. coast has been cancelled.
A tsunami warning was issued early this morning after a powerful quake this morning in the Gulf of Alaska.
The 7.9 was felt all the way to Anchorage.
The National Weather Service sent a message to cellphones in Alaska warning: ``Emergency Alert. Tsunami danger on the coast. Go to high ground or move inland.''
Residents living in low lying areas of Tofino, B.C. ran to a community centre until they received the all clear.
