A severe thunderstorm watch has ended in Niagara, but there is still a chance of more rain and thunderstorms tonight.
Niagara got hit with heavy rain earlier today, and we received several reports of flooding.
Environment Canada saying they are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts and heavy rain.
Meantime, the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority putting out a notice saying intense rain may cause some flooding today.
Heavy rain is impacting Niagara early this afternoon and the NPCA says a considerable amount of rain has fallen over a short period of time.
Officials say the event may impact smaller watercourses and spark localized flooding.
However, all major watercourses are well below critical levels.
