This is an unusual turn of events, typically it's Canadians who head across the border to pick up a jug of cheap milk.
But now a U-S Senator is crying foul over cheap milk in Canada.
Charles Schumer says a new pricing policy in Ontario has gone into effect designed to discourage Canadian cheesemakers from using ultra filtered milk in their products imported from the U-S.
Schumer met with Canadian officials yesterday to get them to reverse the policy saying it flies in the face of trade agreements between the two countries.
The Senator adds it hurting farmers in his state.
