The man charged with second degree murder in the death of a Brock University student has been found not guilty.
The Hamilton Spectator reporting a jury has found Dale King not guilty in the shooting death of 19 year old Yosif Al-Hasnawi.
King, who took the stand over two days in the trial admitted he fired the fatal shot, but claimed it was self defence.
The jury had three choices not guilty, manslaughter or second-degree murder.
Two paramedics, accused of not believing Al-Hasnawi had been shot, are charged separately with failing to provide the necessaries of life.
Their trial starts in January.
