There's a call for volunteers to join Port Colborne's marine search and rescue unit.
The Port Colborne Marine Auxiliary Rescue (POCOMAR), is part of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary and 100 percent volunteer driven.
They are based out of Sugarloaf Marina and help cover an area of 432 sq. kilometres of water.

POCOMAR will also be at Canal days on August 2nd - 5th promoting water safety and answering any questions you might have.
