A waitress in Niagara Falls is planning a trip after winning $500,000 in the lottery.

41 year old Jennifer Labre matched seven of seven numbers to win the prize in the January 7th Lotto Max draw.

This is a first-time major win for the mother of two.

“I scanned my ticket using the OLG Lottery App and I thought it was a joke,” Jennifer exclaimed, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque.

The waitress plans to renovate her mother’s home, take a trip to Costa Rica with her sons and make some investments.

“I’m still in disbelief,” she concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Avondale on Dunn Street in Niagara Falls.
