Participants are getting ready for Walk A Mile In Her Shoes in support of Gillian's Place.
Member of the board and long time participant Darryl Andree says the facts are frightening.
"I think the stats that people don't realize, especially this year, is that 25 women a year are killed in Ontario in domestic homicides. And so far this year it's been 38."

Gillian's Place was one of Ontario's first shelters for abused women and children, and has been providing a safe place for over 40 years.
