It's been a tale of two cities, so to speak, when it comes to how to handle visitors.
Niagara on the Lake putting up signs asking people to stay home, while further along the river, in Niagara Falls, visitors lined the parkway yesterday taking in the sunshine and warm temperatures.
The Niagara Parks Commission has closed restrooms, playgrounds and picnic areas but parking lots are open and people are allowed to walk along the parkway.
Parks police were out reminding people to stay two metres apart.
The mayor of Niagara on the Lake, Betty Disero telling us a week ago, the problem with the daytrippers is they stop at gas stations and grocery stores in the town to try and use restrooms.
The town has also closed some public parking areas in an effort to discourage visitors.
Niagara Falls was also the scene of the Mayor's Crush the Curve Caravan over the weekend, with a line of cars and trucks, driving through neighbourhoods honking and playing music.
