Door-to-Door water filtration salespeople have been spotted in Niagara Falls.
Officials with the City of Niagara Falls say they have no association with the group and they remind residents that city employees will carry proper identification and drive a clearly marked vehicle.
Homeowners report the salespeople request to inspect water lines and ask for personal information, including utility bills.
Door-to-door water filter sales have been banned in Ontario since March of last year.
