The fate of the minority Liberal government is now in the hands of the Opposition parties.
Parliament resumes today, in full for the first time in six months, with a confidence vote on yesterday's throne speech on the schedule.
The Conservatives and the Bloc Quebecois have already signalled that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau can't count on support from any of them, leaving the N-D-P as the only lifeline for the Liberals.
Their support isn't assured yet either.
The party wants COVID emergency benefits to continue and guaranteed paid sick leave in exchange for their support.
