A weather system may dampen your long weekend plans.
Gerald Cheng with Environment Canada tells CKTB showers will most likely start overnight Friday and stay with us into Saturday.
He says the system could bring thunderstorms.
He says the temperature will also be below seasonal, with highs around 17-20 degrees.
Cheng says Sunday afternoon is the best day to plan an outdoor activity, since some showers may impact the Lake Erie area Monday.
The rest of the region should enjoy a nice holiday Monday.
He reminds residents that the lakeshore remains chilly, with the water temperature sitting around 12 degrees or 53 Fahrenheit.
