A weather warning has now been called for some parts of Niagara.
South Niagara is under a snow squall warning.
Environment Canada saying snow squalls off Lake Erie have shifted north into the Port Colborne and Fort Erie areas. (as of 3pm)
Local snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm will be possible before the squalls shift back to the south this evening.
Whiteout conditions may also occur.
The cities of Welland and Niagara Falls are expected to escape the worst conditions.
Meantime, the rest of the region will get some flurries and blowing snow. 2 to 4 centimetres are possible.
