A 33-year-old man has been arrested after Niagara Police discovered a stolen vehicle in Fort Erie.
Police say they were called yesterday morning at 11 o`clock to a welfare check in the area of House Road and Garrison Road.
Once on scene, officers found stolen 2007 Ford Freestyle, which had been reported stolen from Hamilton earlier this month.
Officers say they also found multiple stolen tools in the vehicle.
The suspect, who also had three outstanding arrest warrants for previous incidents, was placed under arrest.
33-year-old Franklin Lewis of no fixed address is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 (2 Counts), Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 (2 Counts), Break Enter and Commit non-Dwelling House
Theft under $5000 (8 Counts), and Fail to Comply with Release Order.
