People who need a caffeine fix can pick up a special green latte and help Hospice Niagara at the same time.
Owner of the Black Sheep Lounge in Welland Lucas Spinosa describes the limited time Emerald Latte as a 'green, maple flavoured latte.'
Spinosa was inspired by his girlfriend who spent time at Hospice Niagara as part of Niagara College's Practical Nursing program.
"After hearing stories when she comes back home, and some of the things that the nurses, and PSWs, and facilitators do at that facility - what an incredible effort from everyone coming together to help some really amazing people."
Hospice Niagara cares for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families as they confront illness, dying, and grief. The programs are offered completely free of charge.
The lattes will be available for a month.
Last year the folks at The Black Sheep Lounge were able to raise more than $1,500 for Breast Cancer research by selling Pink Lattes.
