We now know the extent of damage after a spectacular fire in Welland late Friday afternoon.
Officials say the fire, which started in a garage and spread to a house on Wilson Road, resulted in $500,000 in damages.
Thirty-four firefighters battled the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators believe the cause of the fire was an electrical issue.
