A Welland man with an outstanding warrant for his arrest is facing charges after a three car crash in Hamilton.
Police in the Hammer determined the 33 year old man was at fault for a collision last night just after 6:30 p.m. at Ottawa and Burlington Streets.
Officials say two vehicles had stopped at a traffic light when they were hit from behind by the driver of a Chevrolet Equinox.
During the investigation, officials discovered his driver's licence had been suspended due to unpaid fines and he was wanted by a neighbouring police agency for failing to turn to up to court.
Police also say they found several unidentified pills in the Equinox and have submitted them for analysis.
The man will appear in court on July 25th to answer the charges of careless driving, driving while under suspension, and failure to surrender an insurance card.
In the meantime, he has been arrested and turned over to the other police agency.
