A 37 year old Welland resident is facing a number of drug related charges following an investigation by the NRP.
Police say they began the investigation this spring into the alleged sale of cocaine by Salvatore "Sammy" Lamacchia.
Yesterday, police moved in after watching a suspected drug deal and arrested Lamacchia.
Police say they also confiscated over a kilo of cocaine worth about $100,000.
A search of the suspects home, turned up 28 pot plants worth about $28,000.
Lamacchia is due in court today for a bail hearing.
