Police are again reminding parents to check their children's Halloween candy.
The reminder comes after a concerned parent went to the Port Colborne police station Friday to report her child had found a pill hidden inside a piece of candy.
The pill was an over the counter medication used to treat motion sickness or nausea.
The child is believed to have trick or treated in Welland, in the Marshall Avenue and Kilgor Avenue area.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
