Three Welland residents are facing drug charges after an investigation by the Niagara police street crime unit.
Police say property stolen from a Port Colbourne business was being exchanged for drugs.
Yesterday, police executed a search warrant at a Welland home and seized forty bags of prepackaged cocaine and cash.
Fifty-four-year-old Randy Weaver of Welland is charged with:
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Theft under $5,000
Fifty-four-year-old Tim Rodgers is charged with:
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Thirty-one-year-old Felicia Christian of Welland is charged with:
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Police say the theft investigation is ongoing and further arrests are imminent.
