The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has been called in to determine why a WestJet aircraft overshot a runway in Halifax on the weekend.
The Boeing 737 skidded off the end of Runway 14 at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport during a snowstorm yesterday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for the airline said there were no injuries.
WestJet confirmed Flight 248 -- en route from Toronto to Halifax -- landed just after noon and overshot the runway with 172 passengers and seven crew members aboard.
