With the start of its 34th season right around the corner, the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights is hoping to recruit some new volunteers.
Festival officials will host a volunteer recruitment barbeque on October 13th at Heartland Forest from 5-7 pm.
Festival director, Tina Myers says this season they will be offering more events and they are hoping to recruit more volunteers to help out.
There is still no word on whether the festival has managed to find a media partner to broadcast the annual New Year's Eve show in Queen Victoria Park after Global pulled its sponsorship last year.
