Pelham voters decided for a clean sweep and will not see a single incumbent returning to the town's council chambers.
Many are wondering what's next for Pelham Mayor Dave Augustyn after serving as the town's Mayor for over a decade.
Augustyn, who was the driving force behind the new recreation centre lost his bid to represent the town as a Regional Councillor.
He had registered to campaign for the position of Regional Chair, but had to change plans at the last moment when PC Leader Doug Ford cancelled the election.
Augustyn then decided to run for Regional Councillor.
He came in third place last night losing to Diana Huson.
CKTB caught up with Augustyn today as he was taking down his election signs.
He says he remained hopeful while campaigning, but there were a lot of people who wanted change.
He points to third party advertising which campaigned against him.
Augustyn says it's hard to fight attacks like that.
He congratulates Councillor Huson and all elected officials including former town councillor Marvin Junkin who was voted in as Mayor.
He says he doesn't know what's next for him or his family.
Augustyn's past professional life included fundraising for agencies like Gillian's Place.
He says he is looking forward to spending more time with his family and helping his high school age children with homework.
Voter turnout in Pelham was 50.44 percent making it the second highest turnout in Niagara.
