The Brampton man who won a record-breaking $70 million jackpot says he is excited, overwhelmed, but overall feeling very blessed.
Adlin Lewis, a 49 year old credit risk manager, picked up his cheque yesterday after winning the biggest lottery prize in Canadian history.
He says the first time he scanned his ticket using the OLG app, he got an error message. On a second attempt 'Big Winner' flashed across the screen.
He's got a reputation for being lucky, last year he won a car and over the holidays he won the first and second place prizes in a workplace holiday draw.
Oh, and the winning ticket? Lewis says, "It's funny - I won the record-breaking jackpot with a Free Play ticket!"
