Environment Canada officials have called off the Winter Storm Warning, but Niagara remains under an Extreme Cold Warning.
Temperatures are expected to be particularly frigid over the next few days.
This afternoon, our low is minus 15, but with the wind chill it will feel more like minus 27. By tonight, the wind chill will be near minus 30.
Frostbite can develop on exposed skin within minutes.
Experts also encourage pet owners to bring animals inside during the cold snap.
Temperatures are expected to return to normal when a mild air mass moves through on Tuesday.
