A woman has been arrested accused of ripping off the Niagara Region Ontario Disability Support Program.
It was back in the summer the Niagara Regional Police Financial Crimes Unit was contacted by the program regarding possible fraudulent activity.
Detectives from the Financial Crimes Unit carried out an extensive investigation and then made an arrest this week.
Dianna Nottingham was arrested on February 12th, 2019 in the City of Niagara Falls.
The suspect is accused of stealing $153,000.
She is charged with Fraud Over $5000, and Laundering Proceeds of Crime.
Her next court appearance is February 19, 2019, at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St.Catharines via video.
