Emergency crews conducted another rescue in the Niagara River after a woman in her 30s slipped into the swiftly moving water near the Whirlpool.
The woman was able to grab onto a rock 15 feet away from the shoreline and wait for the Niagara Falls Fire Department to rescue her using a ladder around 4 yesterday afternoon.
Once she was on shore, she was assessed by Niagara EMS and released.
Niagara Parks Police have charged her with trespassing.
Earlier in the day, officers charged two other people with trespassing in the Niagara Gorge and issued two additional warnings.
Emergency crews remind all hikers to stay on marked trails after several rescues in the last few weeks.
