Shock in Fort Erie after a woman convicted in a high profile murder case is granted parole.
The Standard reporting Rainbow Hill, one of the three women convicted in the 2011 murder of 2 year old Marissa Whalen, will be allowed to leave prison after serving close to 10 years behind bars.
Hill was sentenced to 12 years behind bars, Marissa's mother received a sentence of life in prison without parole for 15 years and Hill's sister Amanda Dipota was sentenced to three years behind bars for being an accessory to murder.
