The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a worker was injured during clean up following the Cascades of Fireworks display in Niagara Falls.
David Adames, the chair of the Winter Festival of Lights, says it happened yesterday afternoon.
EMS and Niagara Parks police responded to the site at the International Control Dam in the upper Niagara River.
The worker is a 10-year employee of Whysall Fireworks -- the supplier of the Festival.
No word on their condition.
According to Whysall Fireworks, this is the first major safety incident that has happened in their 40 years of business.
