A man was taken to hospital after a workplace injury in Thorold.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating after emergency services were called to the Oxy chemicals plant on Thorold Townline Road around 11:15 a.m. yesterday morning.
A Ministry of Labour spokesperson told Post Media that a jack stand gave way while a worker from ES Fox Constructors was levelling a trailer - the trailer then pinned the worker.
The man's condition has not been released.
