With the provincial Liberals falling in polls, there have been suggestions that Premier Kathleen Wynne's leadership could be challenged.
The Toronto Star reporting there are whispers at Queen's Park about who might fill her shoes if her party's fortunes do not improve.
A poll conducted by Forum Research in mid-February put Wynne's approval rating at a paltry 11 percent.
The survey showed if an election was held now the Liberals could be reduced to third party status.
The Star presented several cabinet ministers as possible successors including Steven Del Duca, Eric Hoskins, Yasir Naqvi and Charles Sousa.
The premier says she does not sense any disloyalty among her party members.
