You might want to wait to gas up

If you can, you may want to hold off putting gas in your tank until later tonight.

Dan McTeague with  https://www.gasbuddy.com/  says this morning's five cent increase at the pump is temporary.

He expects prices to drop by about three cents a litre after midnight.

McTeague says fears there would be a supply shortage because of an explosion earlier this week on the Colonial Pipeline in Alabama will not come to fruition.

The owners of the pipeline say it should be back up and running over the weekend.
