Eight young entrepreneurs from Niagara will be showing their stuff during a trade show at St. Catharines' City Hall.
Students between the ages of 15 and 29 have been able to start their own businesses through The Summer Company program, a partnership between the provincial government and the St. Catharines Enterprise Centre.
Last year the program offered up $30,000 to local applicants, generating $85,000 in sales.
Some of the initiatives this year include an arts and music summer camp, a videography business, a reusable produce bag, and a local author launching a 48 chapter novel.
Members of the public are invited to meet the business owners on Monday, July 15th in the Atrium Room of City Hall between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
