A Lockport, New York company is offering visitors a unique ride over the waters of the old Erie Canal.
A zipline, aptly named the Niagara Zipper, takes riders on an adventure, 110 feet above the water and 400 feet across the old canal on the first pass.
Riders then glide back across the 19th century locks, another 600 feet along a 57 foot drop.
The Buffalo News quoting the U.S. Coast Guard, which approved the ride, says it's the only zip line over a navigable waterway anywhere in the nation.
