Niagara is under an extreme cold warning, with the temperature today around minus 16 and wind chills dropping to minus 31 this afternoon.
On top of that, the snow squall warning continues this morning for South Niagara.
The weather office say the squalls should move south of Fort Erie by midday.
Fort Erie getting the worst of the winter weather yesterday with roads snowcovered and slippery, but roads have been ploughed and are in good shape in the Niagara Falls area.
Enviroment Canada says drivers in the southern tier should again prepare for reduced visibility on roads because of blowing snow, winds will pick up and gust to 70 km/hr by middday
