The VP of Academics at Niagara College says this semester will be all about the health and safety of students and staff.
Fiona Allan says they are preparing for the return of a limited amount of students.
She says 80 percent of courses will be online and only 20 percent have elements that require students to be on campus.
So those students will only be on campus for those hands on parts, and leave as soon as class is done.
Masks are mandatory and entry into the school will be limited to two entrances.
Allan adds they were fortunate they could give the plan a test run this summer by bringing back 300 nursing, dental and technology students to campus, who had yet to complete their hands on components.
As for on campus residences, she says the Welland campus residence will be limited to 150 students and the Niagara on the Lake dorm, 140.
There is a two day plan to move them in so they are spaced out.
