An investigation is underway after what's being called a 'minor' collision at Lock 8 in Port Colborne during Canal Days.
Reports say the tall ship Empire Sandy hit the side of the lock and then the back of a freighter.
It happened Saturday night about 8:30 p.m.
A city official says the St. Lawrence Seaway is now investgating the incident but there were no injuries in the collision.
No other details are available.
The frieghter is a bulk carrier cargo ship registered in Liberia.
