Niagara police are investigating a violent break in early yesterday morning in Niagara Falls.
They were called to a home in the Forsythe Street and Slater Avenue area around 5:00 a.m.
That's where police found a violent struggle had taken place between the occupant of the home and four to six supsects who had forced their way in.
Police say a weapon was involved in the struggle.
While police were on the scene, the 24-year-old victim assaulted officers and was arrested.
He's now facing assault charges.
The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.
A short time later, two males turned up at a hospital with serious injuries.
Both were suspects in the break in.
Derek Horth, 25, from Niagara Falls, and Cody Taylor, 28, from Hamilton, were arrested and charged with robbery.
The investigation continues.
