A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Niagara region the second day in a row.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for St. Catharines, Grimsby, and the Northern Niagara area.

Meteorologists are tracking a storm capable of producing powerful wind gusts, hail, and heavy rain.

As the storm rolls into the Niagara region there are reports of 25 to 50 mm of rain and 2 cm of hail.
