An arrest has been made after a shooting outside a local bar on Main Street in Niagara Falls.


An arrest has been made after a shooting outside a local bar on Main Street in Niagara Falls.

The shooting took place back in October 2017.

Police are now making an arrest 4 months later.

20 year old Michael Velemirovich of Fort Erie has been charged with 9 various offences including:

- Aggravated Assault
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Fail to Comply with Sentence

Velemirovich has been held in custody, pending a bail hearing.

Also arrested and charged in relation to the offence is 18 year old Kiara Minto-Perrin of Niagara Falls.

She was charged with Accessory After the Fact to Commit Indictable Offence.

Minto-Perrin was later released on an Officer in Charge Promise to Appear.
