A local group will hold a public meeting this weekend as they continue to put pressure on the city of St. Catharines to clean up the former GM plant on Ontario Street.
The Coalition for a Better St. Catharines calling the site a blight that is decreasing property values in the area.
The old GM plant was bought by Bayshore Groups in 2010 and was put up for sale in March.
The coalition has also collected a thousand signatures asking the city to clean up the site.
The public meeting is set for three oclock Saturday afternoon at Mahtay Café.
