Niagara residents may get a chance to view the most expensive dress ever purchased.
The famous skin tight, bejewelled dress worn by Marilyn Monroe when she sang a sultry ``Happy birthday, Mr. President'' to President John F. Kennedy for his 45th birthday in 1962 went on display yesterday in Luseland, Saskatchewan.
The dress was bought in November for $4.8 million by Luseland native and businessman Jim Pattison.
Pattison has a Niagara connection, his entertainment group owns Ripley's Believe it or Not and Guiness World Records on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls, along with the Great Wolf Lodge.
A company official says the dress will tour Ripley's centres after it's Saskatchewan debut.
