There were no reported injuries to any children on the bus.

A school bus with children on board has rear ended a car in Welland, according to the Niagara Regional Police.

Police were notified about the collision around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon on Southworth Street.

A woman in her 70's was driving the car that was struck, and was treated by paramedics for minor injuries.

There were no reported injuries to any children on the bus.

Police are investigating and have not yet revealed if there will be any charges.

This story follows an earlier incident involving a school bus that toppled into a ditch on the 406 roundabout in Welland earlier today.

The bus, which was not carrying children, crashed into the ditch shortly after noon.

OPP say that the driver of the bus suffered minor injuries.
